Filming
Kirsten is currently filming a supporting role in an Italian Independent film called ‘Silver Case’ directed by Christian Fillippella.
Kirsten recently completed filming her first leading feature film role as Sarah in ‘Walk a Mile in my Prada’s’ which is due to be released this Christmas.
Kirsten also filmed a supporting role as ‘Marianna’ in another Independent called ‘Look at Me’ this year, while Kirsten can also be seen interviewing Lloyd Klein in his couture boutique on HollyScoop.com, which aired on KTLA on 29th February in LA.
At the start of the year, Kirsten played a supporting role opposite Tom Everett-Scott in a feature length film called ‘Storage’ directed by Jonathan Suits.
Kirsten Supports the Whaleman Foundation
Kirsten donated $10,000 to the Whaleman Foundation on behalf of her production company, Love Lea Films, to support the protection of dolphins and whales from being illegally hunted and slaughtered. Kirsten helped to sponsor the event held on November 15th 2009 at Beso restaurant in West Hollywood (owned by Eva Longoria Parker) alongside fellow spokeswoman, Hayden Panettiere and actors Gilles Marini, Kevin Conolly and musician Sean Paul.
Kirsten Lea makes her Hollywood Debut
Kirsten Lea made her Hollywood movie debut alongside acclaimed actor Robert Downey Jr. in The Soloist, directed by Joe Wright (Atonement, Pride & Prejudice).
The film, produced by Steven Spielberg’s Dreamworks production company, follows the story of a talented, but schizophrenic, homeless musician (played by Academy award winning actor, Jamie Foxx) who dreams of playing at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Kirsten is featured as an awards presenter.
Kirsten rose to the challenge of working alongside Hollywood’s finest and was complimented by Robert when he commented the she had, “good instincts for acting."
